Building Blocks for Sensory Integration
February 9, 2019 - February 10, 2019
| $395This two-day, online course provides therapists with an in-depth understanding of the developmental and neuro-physiological links between sensory integration and the basic primary movement patterns that provide the foundation (or building blocks) for sensory modulation and integration. Beginning with support of the primitive reflexes, we will explore the development of posture and its relationship to gross and fine motor skills along with visual and auditory function. Demonstrations, movement labs and video case examples will highlight treatment strategies that can be implemented with and without therapy equipment, making them appropriate for all clinical settings.
