SUMMARY:From Eyesight to Insight - Visual and Vestibular Assessment and Treatment
DESCRIPTION:The Vision Kit – a toolkit utilized by Dr. Hillier & Mary Kawar \nThe development of higher-level performance skills\, including reading\, writing\, and receptive and expressive language\, is dependent upon a strong sensorimotor foundation. For many children unidentified difficulties with both the visual and vestibular systems can impact optimal performance. Participants will learn directly from an occupational therapist and developmental optometrist how to capture the subtleties of visual-vestibular dysfunction\, thus enhancing participants’ ability to optimize treatment planning. \nTake an additional discount of $20 per participant for groups of 3 or more individuals enrolling simultaneously. \n \n Printable Brochure\n \n \nLocation\nOnline* \nSchedule\n\n \n Full Agenda\n \n \nDay 1: Sunday\, December 10\, 2017\, 9:00am – 4:45pm CST/CDT\nDay 2: Monday\, December 11\, 2017\, 9:00am – 4:45pm CST/CDT\nCheck-in begins at 8:30am CST/CDT on day one & day two.\nTest begins at approx. 4:15pm CST/CDT on day two. \n*If registering after 5:00pm CST on Friday\, December 8th\, Course Instructions will be emailed after 8:15am CST on Sunday\, December 10th.
