SUMMARY:The Clinical Use of Sound in Sensorimotor Integrative Treatment: Strategies to Support Regulation\, Movement\, and Participation - Live Webinar w/ Recording
DESCRIPTION:Create quick shifts in client regulation—in just once session.\n\nFor over two decades\, sound-based interventions have served as a powerful tool for clinicians working within sensory integration and sensory processing frameworks. In this interactive one-day course\, sensory integration pioneer Sheila M. Frick\, OTR/L\, and Sharron Donnelly\, M.S.\, OTR/L\, will guide you through the therapeutic application of sound to facilitate quick shifts in state\, enhance sensory modulation\, support bilateral motor coordination\, and drive functional participation. \nBecause sound and movement are intrinsically linked in both brain structure and neural function\, we’ll examine how specific\, targeted sound qualities can be leveraged to promote whole-brain processing\, perceptual-motor skills\, spatiotemporal organization\, and cognition. \nJoin Sheila and Sharron to elevate your clinical toolkit with fast-acting\, evidence-informed sound strategies. You’ll develop the skills and knowledge to: \n\nFacilitate rapid state changes and regulation using targeted\, fast-acting sound interventions.\nIntegrate auditory strategies seamlessly into direct treatment\, sensory diets\, and home programs.\nStrengthen complex sensorimotor functions\, including postural activation\, bilateral motor coordination\, and spatial organization.\nApply theoretical principles—such as binaural beats and rhythmic entrainment—to real-world pediatric and adult clinical cases.\nIdentify the “just-right” musical match to enhance sensory modulation\, arousal regulation to support focus and emotional regulation in real time.\n\nGain the practical tools\, clinical insights\, and confidence you need to create immediate\, meaningful impact for your clients—starting on Monday morning. \nRegister Now — Scroll Down to “Tickets”\nSave $15 per participant when 3 or more individuals enroll together under the same web-order. \nLocation\nOnline with Recording Option* \nSchedule\n\n \n Full Agenda\n \n \nMonday\, November 2\, 2026\, 9:00am – 4:30pm Central Time (CT)\nCheck-in begins at 8:30am CT\nTest begins at approx. 4:00pm CT \nLive Webinar Registration Closes:\nSunday\, November 2 at 7:30am CT \nRecording Registration Closes:\nMonday\, November 9 at 10:00am CT \nCan’t make it on November 2?
