| $425

ETOI The only Eyesight to Insight webinar offering for 2022 – Enroll Today!

In this introductory video, Dr. Carl Hillier, O.D., FCOVD shares the importance of conducting a visual screening as a component of a clinical assessment.

Mary Kawar, M.S., OT/L shares with Sheila Frick how partnering with a developmental optometrist supported her work as a occupational therapist and discusses the multifaceted contributions of the vestibular system.

Vision Kit Items

The Vision Kit – a toolkit utilized by Dr. Hillier & Mary Kawar

The development of higher-level performance skills, including reading, writing, and receptive and expressive language, is dependent upon a strong sensorimotor foundation. For many children unidentified difficulties with both the visual and vestibular systems can impact optimal performance. Participants will learn directly from an occupational therapist and developmental optometrist how to capture the subtleties of visual-vestibular dysfunction, thus enhancing participants’ ability to optimize treatment planning.

Vital Links & Vital Sounds have created a Vision Kit to compliment this course. The instructors will refer to and discuss the items included in the Vision Kit throughout the course. Though not required to attend the course, the items included in this kit will aid in assessing a person’s vision and will prove beneficial when implementing strategies learned during the course into your own clinical practice. You can purchase the Eyesight to Insight Vision Kit from Vital Sounds as a companion to the information taught course for the rate of $79 (S&H fees apply).

Take an additional discount of $20 per participant for groups of 3 or more individuals enrolling simultaneously under the same web-order.
