TRE can be a valuable treatment when working with children who experience stress and developmental trauma. While the principles of TRE remain consistent, the individual approach can look quite different. In order to successfully implement TRE with children, providers need to gain a depth of understanding of when, why, and how to alter the protocol to keep children safe and regulated when releasing defensive patterning. Participants will explore the development of the neurobiological aspects of the tremor mechanism, self-regulation (arousal and affect regulation), and the innate play action systems. Come ready to release stress through playful interactions.
