Using Sound to Support Regulation and Bilateral Integration (expanded Quickshifts course) – Live Webinar w/ Recording
April 3
| $195.00Recording Access Available!
In this one-day course, we will explore the therapeutic application of sound to support regulation and bilateral integration. Sound and movement are linked in both the structure and function of the brain. This course will review those connections and explore using aspects of sound for the purpose of promoting whole-brain processing, sensory modulation and regulation, perceptual motor skills, spatiotemporal organization, and cognition. Participants will learn about theoretical underpinnings such as binaural beat technology, rhythmical entrainment, and the encoded movement patterns found in music. This course will expand on these concepts through case and video presentations to show practical clinical applications.
