From Eyesight to Insight – Visual and Vestibular Assessment & Treatment

September 30, 2016 - October 1, 2016

Vision Kit Items

The Vision Kit – a toolkit utilized by Dr. Hillier & Mary Kawar

The development of higher-level performance skills, including reading, writing, and receptive and expressive language, is dependent upon a strong sensorimotor foundation. For many children unidentified difficulties with both the visual and vestibular systems can impact optimal performance. Participants will learn directly from an occupational therapist and developmental optometrist how to capture the subtleties of visual-vestibular dysfunction, thus enhancing participants’ ability to optimize treatment planning.
