Clinical Conversations – Targeting the Auditory System to Support Postural Control and Movement from a Neuro-Developmental Treatment Perspective
March 21, 2017
| $50This 90-minute conversation will discuss the use of Quickshift music in supporting facilitated movement and play in meeting functional goals. As pediatric therapists we frequently use play as a platform to facilitate functional movement and environmental exploration. We can be challenged by patients who have difficulty participating in treatment because of behavior, lack of movement or excessive movement that hinders progress. The use of video case studies will illustrate principles of Neuro-Developmental Treatment incorporating Quickshifts to enhance participation, adaptation and anticipation in play, for this population of children.
